every search result was either broken, covered in ads, or trying to get us to install something. So we built a
page that just did the one thing. White screen, full screen, done.
Then we thought, well, if we needed that, someone probably needs a black screen too. And a countdown
timer. And something to prank a coworker with. One tool turned into a habit, and the habit turned into Full
Screen Lab.
79 tools now live on the site, split across 12 categories, from solid colors and ambient light to productivity
timers, screensavers, prank screens, and a growing pile of AI powered ones.
Every single one runs right in
your browser. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for, nothing to pay for.
We’re not backed by investors and there’s no growth team chasing numbers. It’s a small group of people who
build in the evenings, ship fast, and add whatever seems genuinely useful, usually because we needed it
ourselves first.
If a tool feels half baked or something’s broken, tell us. Odds are we’ll have it fixed faster than
you’d expect from a real company.
We could slap a paywall on the good stuff and call it a pro tier. We’re just not going to. Full Screen Lab exists
because it’s fun to build and genuinely useful to have around. That’s reason enough to keep it free.
New screens go up regularly, often because someone emailed us with an idea we hadn’t thought of. If you’ve
